A Happy New Year to you all.

I trust you have all enjoyed the festive season and not been too inconvenienced by the heavier than usual snow fall this winter. It certainly led to a number of cancelled dances and classes including our Bi-Annual Ball since many were unable to negotiate the untreated roads and pavements. Hopefully that is all behind us and we can move forwards to enjoy lively dancing at the various locations in and around the Croydon area. To compensate for the Ball, the Committee have managed to arrange an extra dance on May, 15^th 2010 at our usual location, Purley URC, dancing to The Music Makers.

According to the feed back, everyone enjoyed the 2009 Eastbourne Weekend School. We will be returning there in November 2010 with Simon Wales as our teacher and look forward to meeting old and new friends.

A number of Committee members are standing down this year so we are looking for new members. No experience is necessary nor is it an onerous a task so think about joining your Committee and assist with the promotion and social enjoyment of Scottish Country Dancing.
